Hello friends! We moved to Guatemala at the beginning of the month! It has been exciting getting to be a part of the campus life in person. The community welcomed us with a welcoming party the first Friday we were here. Caitlin joined in on the high school girls night, enjoying bonding time while watching a movie with the girls and a couple lady co-workers. Caitlin subbed a couple of days the past two weeks for different teachers. Bradley has also subbed a class, and worked on prepping a fun end-of-the-quarter escape room activity for the high school class with the teacher that leads them regularly, it was based off of their main literature book of the quarter. We have spent a fair amount of time helping Kaylee adjust to Guatemala, meeting old friends and new ones. The three of us love serving God as a family here in Antigua.

Encounter Update: 

-We had several meetings the past few weeks while here. Two were all-staff meetings, a couple alone with our bosses, and several individual meetings with different staff members.

-The school had a pajama day and Christmas decorating day, that all three of us were a part of. 

-We had an end of the quarter potluck and Christmas party to see the families and students off, for Christmas break starts the last week of November. 

-While the school is on break, all of the rooms except for ours get booked out for the season, to serve guests with Christian love and bring income in for the ministry at the same time.

Prayer Requests:

-Pray: We will be trying to coordinate schedules together and with a couple potential babysitters we know from the school community, so we can begin formal Spanish language training at one of the schools in Antigua.

-Praise: God brought us here! And all of us are adjusting well into life in Guatemala.

-Pray: We hit our target of 80% for our first few months here, thanks to some one time donations. Pray we can continue connecting with new supporters from here, and that we can get to 100% monthly funding by or before next School year. 

Pray: Pray for good experiences for us during our first holidays here.
